I know that frying turkeys is not really Barbecue but when you have to cook 20 turkeys for the Fairbanks rescue mission on Thanksgiving Day you pull out all of the stops!!
Dan and Barb of Three Dogs BBQ teamed up with Shelly and Jeff of Turnin' & Burnin', Norm and Marilyn of Boss Hog BBQ, Lloyd and Michelle of BBQ Boogie, and other members of the Alaska BBQ association to support the Fairbanks Rescue Mission Thanksgiving Dinner by cooking 20 turkeys. Norm smoked two turkeys in his outdoor roasters and the rest of the turkeys were fried with outdoor turkey fryers. 20 turkeys in 4 hours!!
